"The Eiffel Tower!" said the policeman. "There is no such thing."可是警察回答说：“埃菲尔铁塔！没有那种东西。”

Anneena asked a lady. "Do you know where the Eiffel Toweris?" she asked.安妮娜去向一位女士打听：“请问您知道埃菲尔铁塔在哪里吗？”

"The Eiffel Tower!" said the lady."There is no such thing."那位女士回答说：“埃菲尔铁塔！没有那个东西。”

"I know why we cant find the Eiffel Tower," said Biff. "It hasnt been invented."比弗突然想到了“我想我知道我们为什么找不到埃菲尔铁塔了。

它一定是还没有被创造出来”Just them they saw a man. He was pilling a cart.接着他们就看到一个人。他正拉着一辆车。

"Will you help?" asked the man. "I cant get the cart up this step."“你们能帮帮我吗？”那个人问道“我拉着这辆车，上不了这个台阶”The children helped the man pull the cart into a hall.

The man pulled a sheet off the cart. "This is my model," he said.男人把车上的幕布打开“这是我做的模型”"What is it?" asked Nadim.。

"It is a torch," said the man. "It will be taller than all the houses in Pairs. People will see it for miles. Here is a picture. It will look like this."

The children looked round the hall. There were lots of models.孩子们在视觉里看了一圈这里有很多的模型"Its a competition," said Chip. "I know which one will win...the Eiffel Tower!"。

"Everyone will see my torch for miles," said the man."At night the top will light up like this!" He plugged in the torch.

There was a loud bang. The top of the torch blew off. Then it fell over with a crash.突然发出一声爆响火炬的顶端爆炸了。
