Here is the question that I have long been struggling with: How to choose the right word? For example, "revise" and "review" both carry the meaning of “复习” according to the dictionary. But I always find people having preference in using one than the other, and that makes me feel really confused.

听 Eileen 说《你问我答》节目让她受益匪浅，我们很高兴好了，下面我们就来看 Eileen 的问题她说 revise 和 review 都有“复习”的意思这个没错，不过要注意的是在英式英语中，表达“复习、温习”功课这个意思时，人们多用动词 revise，而在美式英语中，人们则更多的使用 review 来表示“复习”。
咱们来看两个例句ExamplesI have to revise for the maths exam tomorrow.I have to review for the math exam tomorrow.
Feifei这两个例句仅仅是英式和美式的区分，意思是完全一样的在表达“复习”时，review 即可以做名词也可以做动词而 revise 的名词形式是 revision我们来听用名词 review 和 revision 表示“复习”这个意思的例句。

接下来看 review – 它在做动词的时除了有“复习”的意思外，其它常用的意思包括“重新考虑，审核，评论”先来看表示“重新或再次考虑”的例句ExamplesThe board has agreed to review the bonus pay policy.
