. The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) organizes a series of events to celebrate the huge potential of women worldwide to innovate and drive change for a better future.

Current data show that, despite modest increases, too few women are using the IP system. The current gender gap in IP means that we are all missing out. We all benefit when women engage in innovation and creativity. Today, we face unprecedented challenges. With more diverse and inclusive ecosystems for innovation and creativity, we improve our collective capability to transition to a more sustainable future.

• to redouble efforts to promote inclusion and diversity in all areas of our work, to ensure the development of innovation ecosystems that are accessible to all genders.

We invite you to use the materials available to develop your own, customized World Intellectual Property Day campaign in line with your own public awareness goals, to maximize impact among your target audiences.

工作场所的多样性和包容性Diversity and inclusion at your workplace了解贵公司/组织如何处理工作场所的多样性和包容性与人力资源部门合作，在你的工作场所组织午餐俱乐部、咖啡会或非正式小组讨论。

邀请贵公司/组织内外的女性发明人和创造者分享她们的经验，活跃讨论氛围Find out how your company/organization is addressing diversity and inclusion in your workplace. Work with HR to set up lunch clubs, coffee meetings or informal group discussions in your work space. Liven up the discussion by inviting women inventors and creators from within or outside your company/organization to share their experiences.

Create an opportunity for young people to learn about inspiring female role models and celebrate the work of trailblazing women inventors, creators and entrepreneurs at home and beyond.

Create a space where aspiring women inventors, creators and entrepreneurs can meet with experienced mentors on IP and business. Join forces with a local partner (e.g. law firm, chamber of commerce or women’s association) and organize a free IP and business consultation or mentoring session for women inventors, creators and entrepreneurs who want to learn more about how they can benefit from the IP system.
