：1 Neither book is good.  二本书都不太好（neither是形容词）2 Neither of us will go there with you. 我们俩谁都不会和你一起去的(neither是代词)。

3 Neither of them knows German. 他们谁都不懂德语。(neither是代词)

二、neither当副词用时，含义是“也不”，要注意句子是倒装结构；和nor搭配形成neither…nor…结构，起并列连词的作用，通常翻译为“既不也不”比如：1 Tom cannot swim. Neither can I. 汤姆不会游泳，我也不会。
