文天祥（1236-1283），字宋瑞，自号浮休道人、文山江南西路吉州庐陵县（今江西省吉安市）人，南宋末年政治家、文学家，抗元名臣，民族英雄WEN Tianxiang (1236-1283), styled Song’s Auspiciousness, Impermanence Wordist and Elegant Manner by literary names, a native of Luling County, Jizhou, Jiangnanxilu (present-day Ji’an, Jiangxi Province). He was a statesman and litterateur of the late Southern Song dynasty, a famous official fighting against the Yuan army, and a national hero of China.。
